To raise awareness about youth homelessness and the need to develop a new shelter, Youthcare will be distributing a calendar next year highlighting the photography of young residents, and outlining the organisation’s future plans. 

 

The photos will be chosen through a competition.  This colour calendar, designed by local print company Tearoom Design and Print, will provide an outlet for artistic Fraser Coast youth to be published as well as raising awareness about an important social issue.

To be eligible you must be aged 21 or under.  Whilst there are no prescriptive guidelines, the photo should in some way feature the people, culture or environment (built or natural) of the Fraser Coast.

First prize is $150.  The top twelve entries will feature in the 2012 Youthcare calendar and the top three will also be published in the Hervey Bay Observer.
