house_symbol_200x200Youthcare has a range of long-term housing options to suit young people, families, and people with disabilities.

These housing options are to accommodate people who are on low incomes.

You will need to apply for housing assistance with the Department of Housing through a single application process called the ‘One Social Housing System’.

You will be referred to Youthcare from the Department of Housing.

Youthcare will interview a selection of housing applicants that the Department of Housing refers.

If successful, initially you will be offered a three month fixed term lease. If everything works out OK you will be offered a 12 month lease to be reviewed yearly. You will be required to either pay the bond due or apply to the Department of Housing to access a Bond Loan. This accommodation is unfurnished so you will need to provide your own furnishings.
